The unsettled weather continues and the reason for that is due to the position and strength of the jet stream. Throughout this winter we've seen the jet play a major role with our weather patterns. Of late we've seen damaging low pressure systems as lows develop out in the Atlantic and take a 'ride' on a very powerful jet stream towards the United Kingdom.
