↩ On This Day • 1961 Spurs faced Leicester City at Wembley in the FA Cup Final. A win for Spurs would make them the first team to achieve "The Double" in the 20th century. Despite some superb football played during the League season, this was a disappointing finale to the campaign and with Leicester's chances being hampered when Chalmers sustained an injury.
